Diagnostic criteria:
- Headache with at least one of the following characteristics and fulfilling criteria C and D:
- bilateral
- stabbing or pulsating quality
- feeling of pressure in the head
- Use of cannabis
- Headache develops within 12 hours after cannabis use
- Headache resolves within 72 hours after single use
Comment:
Cannabis use is reported to cause headache associated with dryness of the mouth, paraesthesias, feelings of warmth and suffusion of the conjunctivae.
